Tirana Ime

The “Tirana Ime” application is a digital guide to the capital, with the sole purpose of facilitating and improving your life. Designed on a unique and easily accessible platform, the “Tirana Ime” application includes 6 different categories (Traffic, Transportation, Pollution, Information, Reports, Tourism) that help you get all the information you need in real time, whenever and wherever you are.

The “Tirana Ime” application is provided by Vodafone Albania and the Municipality of Tirana.

How much does it cost?

If you do not own a smartphone, you can pay for parking by sending an SMS with your license plate number at 50500 which costs 100 ALL (VAT included).

How does it work?

You can pay for parking on the 3 main streets of Tirana (Deshmoret e Kombit Boulevard, Myslym Shyri Street and Ibrahim Rugova Street) through the “Tirana Ime” application just by following very few steps:

1. Once you have parked your car in a free parking space, log in the “Tirana Ime” application in the Pay the Parking menu. In this menu you will find more information on areas, tariffs and you can choose the payment method, which currently is Pay by SMS.

2. Enter the license plate of your vehicle; select the area and then the number of hours you will be paying for.

3. Public parking is available from Monday to Friday, 7:30 - 20:00. After this timetable, public parking is free and free of charge.

4. You will receive a confirmation SMS with the payment details.

5. 10 minutes before the end you will be notified with an SMS in order to make a payment to delay the time or move your car.
