Notice from Vodafone Albania Sh.A.

Dear Subscribers,

Vodafone Albania informs you that starting from 1 July 2021, all its Subscribers (prepaid and postpaid) who travel to one of the Western Balkan countries (Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina) will be able to use the units included in their tariff plans and national packages without any additional charge, in accordance with the limits of the Fair Use Policy*. This means that subscribers will be able to use, while roaming, the minutes, SMS, and internet included in their monthly package/tariff plan purchased or subscribed to in Albania, paying zero additional ALL for roaming services in the 5 Western Balkan countries.

• Free roaming usage is valid for originated/terminated calls and outgoing/incoming SMS to or from all Western Balkan networks (Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina) while the Vodafone Subscriber is roaming on the visited network operator in the Western Balkan countries.
  Only calls to fixed networks are excluded, for which roaming tariffs apply as presented in the relevant section on Vodafone.al.

• The 30-day packages activated in Albania that can be used while roaming in the Western Balkan countries are: Basic, 4G Start, 4G Go, 4G Run, 4G Fly.

• Units (Minutes, SMS, KB) used while roaming in the Western Balkan countries will be deducted from the active packages in Albania or, if the Subscriber has selected an additional Roaming package, the units will be deducted from that package.

• Charging structure:
  Calls: 30 + 1 seconds (initial charge for the first 30 seconds, then per-second charging)
  Internet: 1 KB + 1 KB (charging per each 1 KB of internet usage)

• For roaming internet, Vodafone reserves the right to automatically apply limitations provided in the Fair Use Policy, in accordance with AKEP regulations. To learn about your package data allowance, click here:

• Dedicated roaming packages (1-Day Europe, 4-Day Europe, 10-Day Europe + USA & Canada, 300 MB Europe, 1.5 GB Europe + USA & Canada, 10-Day World), which include Western Balkan countries, will continue to be available on the market for subscribers.

• If the units of the active package in Albania are consumed and the subscriber does not have a roaming package, both prepaid and postpaid subscribers will be charged per unit according to the table below:

If the units of the active package in Albania are consumed, prepaid and postpaid subscribers may purchase a new package via MyVodafone.

*Note regarding the Fair Use Policy
The use of roaming services in the Western Balkans, according to the RLAH (Roaming Like At Home) model, is subject to fair use policies aimed at preventing abuse and abnormal usage. In this context, Vodafone reserves the right to apply additional roaming charges, on top of the applicable domestic tariff in Albania, in cases of violation of fair use conditions or exceeding the data usage limits while roaming in the Western Balkans, in accordance with the Regulation on the Implementation of the Fair Use Policy and the Sustainability Assessment Methodology for the Removal of Retail Roaming Charges (RLAH) with the Western Balkans, approved by AKEP on 09.06.2021.

The additional roaming charges that Vodafone may apply for abuse/abnormal usage or exceeding the internet usage limit while roaming in the Western Balkans shall not exceed the following values:

4.73 ALL/min for outgoing calls
2.36 ALL/min for incoming calls
1.48 ALL/SMS for outgoing SMS
1.14 ALL/MB for internet
