Status of Vodafone Albania Foundation
Vodafone Albania Foundation is a registered non-profit organization established by Vodafone Albania Sh.A. under the Tirana Court's Decision No.0257 dated 17 July 2007.
The Vodafone Foundation in Albania represent a business Foundation donor in Albania which is investing to the development of chartable initiatives in the country. It aims to be an accelerator of innovative ideas and efforts which use the best of technology and resources to maximize the social impacts for benefit of society. It designs programs and allocates annual grants to implement projects and initiatives that deliver measurable and sustainable impacts in lives of Albanians.
Funding Parties of Vodafone Albania Foundation
The Vodafone Albania Foundation is funded on annual basis by contributions from Vodafone Albania Sh.A and Vodafone Group Foundation in UK. Other third party donations are welcome subject to their compliancy with charitable purpose.
The British Charity Law is the unified guidance for the investment and implementation program by all Vodafone Foundations around the globe, responding to each country’s local needs. The Connecting for Good Program of Foundation is about combining Vodafone's charitable giving and technology to maximize the difference it makes to the world.

Vodafone Foundation supports programs focused in delivering public benefits through the application of technology across the areas of Education, Health Care, Environmental Protection and Disaster Relief, as part of a network of global and local social investment programs.

Foundation in Albania aim to become the leading partner in ICT education in the country in next 10 years by investing in education of youth and disadvantaged groups and transform their lives, equipping them with skills and capacities for the future.

The Grant Giving Program
Guided by its mission statement and its vision, the Vodafone Foundation design strategies and annual programs that engage in partnership for the implementation of initiatives that ensure accomplishment of their commitments. Foundation provides to any interested partner with necessary information for the grant application requirements and relevant required documentations prior proposal submission. The proposals are evaluated based on the partner’s relevance & experience, proposed financial justification, and analysis of impacts and they sustainability. It is the Board of Trustees that make the approval for any grant allocation.
The Connection for Good program: The annual fund allocated for the Grand Giving Program is encouraged to be used up to 80% of initiatives “connected for Good” that get use of technology for delivering social impacts in society.
Upon the auditing by independent auditing entities, Vodafone Foundation publishes its Annual Financial Statements and the Annual Report.
