Vodafone responds to the emergency caused by wildfires in Albania

Free communication for firefighters and residents of affected areas.

This summer’s heat has created an emergency situation in countries such as Turkey, Greece, Albania, Kosovo, etc., where wildfires in different regions have gone out of control. For days, firefighters in Albania have been on the front line, battling dangerous flames, trying to bring them under control and prevent them from spreading further into populated areas.

In these circumstances, Vodafone Albania has taken immediate measures to support with communication the heroes on the front line of this mission as well as the residents of the affected areas. All firefighters and residents of the areas affected by the wildfires, who are Vodafone customers, will benefit from a free communication package to ensure they remain connected and do not lack communication during these difficult days.
