3G - the third generation of technology

3G  is an update system and has the highest data rates of all the generation systems, meaning you can access: fast internet, use video calling and video streaming and access updated services.

It is a group of standards by which mobile phones can have broadband connections to a voice and data network. These standards include: UMTS and further HSPA (HSDPA & HSUPA).

Vodafone Albania offers for its customers the HSPA+ technology, reaching a speed up to 42 Mbps (HSDPA - downlink) and up to 5.8 Mbps (HSUPA - uplink)
