This year Vodafone Albania chose to send its best wishes for a cheerful new year not through a postcard as usual, but through funds dedicated to the Orphanage in Shkodra. Through the   Foundation established by Vodafone Albania, this company has the pleasure to announce its commitment for an additional grant to meet the needs and improve the living conditions for orphan children in Shkodra. In line with its traditional support for orphans in Albania, this commitment aims to ensuring a better living environment for this vulnerable community. The provided grant will offer shelter, new in-house equipments, clothing, a TV room, new kitchen for the orphans’ community.
 
This announcement accompanies the traditional end-of-the-year charity tour of Vodafone Albania Foundation, started in Saranda on December 22nd, 2008 and followed by events in Gjirokastra, Tirana, Gërdec and Shkodra. Vodafone Albania’s staff shared emotions and cheerful festivities with orphan children, elderly people and people affected by disasters during 2008.
