Tirana 7 February 2012: National Olympic Committee of Albania (NOC) and Albanian Team that will represent Albania Summer Olympic Games “London 2012” as well as the Mediterranean Games “Mersin 2013” shall now have a strong support from Vodafone Albania. From the beginning of this year and for a two year period Vodafone will be the new General Sponsor of the National Olympic Committee Albania, which is  the entity constituent of Albania in worldwide Olympic movement.
The announcement of such sponsorship was made today in the NOC headquarters where Vodafone Albania CEO Haris Broumidis and Secretary General of NOC Stavri Bello signed the sponsorship agreement in the presence of invited guests and media.

Secretary General of NOC Stavri Bello thanked Vodafone Albania for its support NOC and the Olympic Movement in Albania. “We are so happy to have the support of Vodafone as a General Sponsor of Albania National Olympic Committee taking into consideration that his involvment for two years at the very important programmes of Albanian NOC for Education of Olympic Values to Youth, Fair Play, increasing role of women at sport, training programmes of coaches, Identification of New talents, etc. Olympic Games represent a unique opportunity for athletes of all countries – and our team of athletes will now be more motivated to give their maximum efforts and raise Albanian flag at international Olympic events”
Vodafone Albania CEO was greeted by Olympic athletes and was symbolically handed over a unique National Olympic team T-shirt, produced exclusively for Vodafone Albania.
