Vodafone Albania Foundation responses to the humanitarian emergency caused by the flood in Shkodra region

Vodafone Albania Foundation, supported by Vodafone Albania Sh.A. and  Vodafone Foundation in UK, confirms the allocation of the amount of  15,000,000 ALL in order to respond to the needs of people  touched by the disaster caused by the flood in the Shkodra region.

In view of the current emergency humanitarian situation, Vodafone Albania Foundation is closely working with authorities in charge and the relief organizations working in the field to identify areas where to address its direct  and efficient aid towards community touched by the disaster.

Commenting on the  contribution provided by Vodafone Albania Foundation on the given situation, Mr. Krenar Loloçi, Chairman of Vodafone Albania Foundation Board, said: “Following our emergency response experiences in the past, Vodafone Albania Foundation is close to people in need in these difficult days, delivering its immediate response to the humanitarian emergency”.

Vodafone Albania’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Haris Broumidis, expressing his sympathy  to the people affected by the disaster, added: “We are always there, where there is a need for aid. It doesn’t matter the size of donation, it matters the care of our people. We will continue to be a leading actor in our business responsibility role”.
