The World of Difference program is an opportunity for the passionate individuals to contribute with their work for a year in projects that produce social impacts for community. 
 
If you are an individual with passion, enthusiasm, commitment and driven to make a change in people’s life,  if you are someone who can prove to have relevant skills, knowledge, and qualities necessary to make a real difference to a chosen charity,  your application to the WOD program is an opportunity to focus your energies on something you really care about fulltime for a year, on your selected civil society organization – and hopefully, when your year of work is finished, you will have left behind a world of difference.
 
Among many applicants, every year VAF offers the possibility to 3 individuals – winners of the “World of Difference” program, covering their salary and operational expenses for 12 months, to work with an organisation of their choice, to implement a project addressing community needs. Proposals should relate to the VAF mission statement and relative fields of intervention.
 
WOD programme in Albania was launched for the first time on 26 February 2008. Two young Albanians engaged in social impact projects were announced as winners for that year. In the following year, the program was announced on April 3rd, 2009 and among many applications there were announced three winners. For the consecutive year there are announced 11 winners for this program coming from different cities of our country, which will intervene in a variety of problems and social issues from health care to human rights. Vodafone Albania Foundation has opened the call for application for "World of Difference" program 2011,  in 21st February 2011. The application will be accepted till the 27th March 2011, with the hope that the upcoming winners will bring more and better for comunities in need.
