NMC Engineer
Job purpose:
Responsible to operate and maintain equipment at the Company in a competent and professional manner to maintain and improve services to customers.
Main job accountabilities
- Respond to alarms and clear all faults as quickly as possible giving priority to service affecting faults
- To minimise time to repair for network and services related faults
- Keep the exchange documents filed and up to date
- Execute the work order and update the related data recordsand Health, Safety and Environment procedures of the Company.
- Maintain and develop accurate, legible control room records
- Provide security services and governance to internal customers
- Liaise effectively with NS engineers to achieve minimum down time and assist with third party in the implementation of maintenance, expansion, upgrade, etc activities
- Configure new network components and bring them into service, expand the capacity of existing network components in line with network growth plan.
- Ensure that the network and services operate at optimum quality and efficiency levels and that operation targets are maintained and exceeded where possible.
- To ensure rapid and accurate configuration of network entities, technical solutions to customers problems, responses to customer care
Profile Requirements
- Degree in Telecommunication / Computer Engineering
- Preferable 1 year working experience with wireless network
- Knowledge of recent technological developments
- Be compliant with information security requirements
- An excellent command of written and spoken English is essential
