During the last decade, Albania is named as one of the countries with problems in addressing the issue of human trafficking. Although there have been continuous efforts to improve the situation, the results at the end of 2013 were still worrying. It was the technological solution that joined Vodafone Albania Foundation, World Vision Albania and the Ministry of Internal Affairs that offered new opportunities and means for the public in reporting cases at risk of being trafficked helping the police forces in identifying and treating these report. Thanks to the close cooperation between the partners in this project, it was created and introduced in June 2014 the Albanian version of the mobile application "Raporto! Shpeto”, as well as a new national green number, 116006. Through this opportunity Albanians can easily report cases of human trafficking either through a short message sent simultaneously to 6 individuals of the Responsible Authority or by calling the national line.
