What is MMS service?

 

MMS (Multi-Media Messaging Service) is the successor to SMS text messaging, allowing mobile subscribers to include any combination of text, images, voice or audio clips, synthetic audio, video clips, and presentation information, in messages sent over their phones.

 

What is the content of the new MMS service?

 

Just like text messages (SMS), a MMS message can contain any combination of text, images, voice or audio clips, synthetic audio, video clips, etc.

 

By using the digital camera of the mobile phone, users can take a snapshot of an object, person or image and immediately send it to another person. The ability to send images allows users to share meaningful moments with friends, family and colleagues. Mobile image transmission also offers inestimable utility in business applications.

 

Editing an image by adding text allows users to create their own electronic postcards. At the same time the user is able to create personalized content MMS by including animations, images and photos stored in his phone memory.

In addition, Vodafone Albania offers to its customers the possibility to send MMS messages even towards e-mail addresses.
