Vodafone Albania Foundation provides through Albanian Red Cross the emergency food packages and communication free airtime for families affected by severe weather conditions

In response the current emergency situation, Vodafone Albania Foundation has allocated last week funds to aid families that have been seriously affected by the bad weather conditions and relevant consequences in a number of areas of the country. In a close collaboration between Albanian Red Cross and Vodafone Albania Foundation, there were identified the 350 families that are severely affected and will be supplied with 350 aid emergency packages, containing food items, hygienic packs, and blankets, as well as 1000 free communication packages and airtime offered by Vodafone Albania to the families living in the most remote areas in the Regions of Shkodra, Kukës, Dibra, Korça and Elbasan. The entire operation is expected to be completed within a week.

This support is in line with Vodafone Foundation emergency program applied at any humanitarian emergency in the countries where the business is operated, as well as all over the globe whenever the natural disaster strikes to aid people affected.
